Curtain Header Style Guide

There are many ways to style a room to ensure you get the look you want, this includes the curtain header i.e. the style of curtain you choose.

Double pleat curtains create a similar look to the single pleat curtain heading; however, they have a double pleat pinched together at even intervals along the heading.

DOUBLE PLEAT CURTAINS

  • This curtain heading is a fixed decorative heading that is suitable for all fabrics.
  • The tuck (pinch) is to the front side of the fabric.
  • It uses 250% fullness, so requires more fabric than the single pleat and will be bulky. However, some pattern fabrics are suited to this pleat rather than the single pleat.
  • It is essential that for this style of curtain heading you have wall space for stacking.
